ACCA President: Candice Noble, a school counselor at Fort Clarke Middle School, is honored to serve as President-Elect for the Alachua County Counselor Association. She has just completed her first year as a school counselor. Candice graduated with her Master's and Specialist degrees from the University of Florida. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Sociology, from Florida as well. Candice loves living in Gainesville for the sense of community, the abundant culture, the bike trails and lakes to boat/ski on, and, of course, for the Florida Gators! This is Candice's first leadership role in ACCA and she looks forward to a successful year surrounded by the many inspirational school counselors in Alachua County.
ACCA President-Elect: Sue Ireland is our ACCA President-Elect for the 2009-2010 year. She is a high school counselor at P.K. Yonge.
ACCA Secretary: Pamela Garcia will be serving as our Secretary this year. She is currently a school counselor at Santa Fe High School.
ACCA Treasurer: Phyllis Erney is one of the founding members of ACCA and has served as Treasurer of ACCAfor the past five years. Ms. Erney has been Kanapaha Middle School's counselor for the past 12 years and has been an educator in Alachua County for 25 years. In 2006, she was named Florida's Middle School Counselor of the Year by FSCA.
FCA Past- President: Karen Pearson has just completed her term as FCA President. She is an elementary school counselor at Foster Elementary in Alachua County.
FCA Region 2 Representative Mary Welch is serving as Region 2 Representative this year for FCA. Mary is a high school counselor at Buchholz High School.
